SBA Express API and MCP Server
The figures on this site are available to software and AI agents for free: SBA Express program rules, today's maximum rates from the live prime rate, the FY2027 guaranty fee, payment math, and lender and state data from SBA's loan-level file. Use the JSON API directly or connect an AI assistant through MCP.
Connect an AI assistant (MCP)
The MCP server speaks Streamable HTTP with stateless JSON-RPC. In an assistant that supports remote MCP servers or custom connectors, add this URL:
https://www.sbaexpress.loans/api/sba-express/mcp
For clients configured with JSON:
{
"mcpServers": {
"sbaexpress": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://www.sbaexpress.loans/api/sba-express/mcp"
}
}
}
No key and no sign-up. The server exposes the 9 tools below.
JSON API
Every tool is also a plain HTTPS endpoint at https://www.sbaexpress.loans/api/sba-express/<tool>. Pass inputs as query parameters on a GET or as a JSON body on a POST. The index at https://www.sbaexpress.loans/api/sba-express lists each tool with its inputs.
